The approach:

The Budding goes through the walls and makes constant interaction with the walls.

Based on the program-specific space requirements the cut-outs were made to create an inner courtyard and make space to create green space and a walking path through the walls. and have a different experience of the walls.

The roof has to outwear slope toward the outside to create a welcoming atmosphere for the building and surrounding environment. Also, this approach allows for collecting and storing rainwater and using it for irrigation and other water purposes and making a green building besides having a roof garden.

The roof design is affected by 30 ft tall walls. The purpose was to design, a shape that doesn't conflict with the attraction and characteristic of the walls, and allows the light gets into the building. However, it still, stands on its own and somehow conveys the idea of adaptive reuse, a new structure growing in the old one. The same idea was followed, for the facade, the battle and harmony of new and existing material.
